Pouring Custard

 



1/4 cup milk 
1 cup whipping cream 
3 egg yolks 
1/4 cup white sugar 
dash of salt 1 tsp vanilla 

Scald milk, cream, vanilla. Lightly beat egg yolks, add sugar and salt; stir into hot milk. Cook over hot water (not boiling) until mixture coats spoon. Add vanilla. Chill before serving. Serves 6.
