Maple Syrup Sauce



1/4 cup maple syrup

2 tbsp minced chives or green onion

2 tsp Dijon mustard

1/2 tsp salt

1 1/2 tbsp butter

pinch of black pepper

Combine maple syrup, chives, mustard, salt and pepper in a small sauce pan and boil for about 1 to 2 minutes until sauce begins to thicken.
