An old favourite. Always nice on a hot, summer day. For a vegetarian version, omit the bacon and use apple and raisin instead.
1 bunch of broccoli
1/2 cup of slivered almonds
bacon, as much as you like
1/2 cup chopped onion
3/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
Steam the broccoli until just tender. Blend other ingredients together and pour over the broccoli. Chill until needed.
